Oatmeal is such a good snack in the afternoon to fill you up pre-/post-workout or in the morning as a energizing breakfast. It can be pretty bland, therefore adding on healthy, sweet fruits and a bit of stevia will give it a sugary taste. Cinnamon is optional but I find it great with bananas and there are many health benefits (such as boosting your metabolism) associated with the spice.
Other alternatives:
- Strawberries, Raspberries, Blueberries
- Dark Chocolate Chips
- Crushed Almonds
